Dalva 10 yr old Tawny

10 year old Tawny Port from Dalva:
The 10 year old Tawny has red nuances in the golden color, deep scent of fruit preserves and nuts. Very balanced in the mouth, delicate and with fruity and spicy, peppery nuances in the fresh and persistent aftertaste. The finish is long, slightly spicy and fresh.

Dalva Colheita 1995
Colheita Port 1995 from Dalva:
The highly aromatic nose offers nutty aromas that contribute to the elegant and very attractive full-bodied taste of orange, caramel, brown sugar and fig. Very complex offering that is balanced and supple overall, while showing great finesse. The length of the finish is excellent. The flavor profile is full of cooking spices, caramel, tobacco and leather. The colors are beautiful orange with hints of garnet.
Dalva Colheita 2000

Colheita Port 2000 by Dalva: Fine Colheita of already almost 20 years aged in barrels. Ripe fresh aromas of cherries and nuts. In the mouth spicy and some wood tones. Full of fruit with hints of cinnamon, currants and nuts and a long fresh finish.

Dalva Late Bottled Vintage

Late Bottled Vintage Port from Dalva:
Deep red with notes of scarlet instead of purple. Soft and subdued on the nose with soft ripe fruit. Lovely enveloping fruit on the palate, sweet blackcurrant and a hint of rock rose. Nice floral complexity offsets well the tannins, which have a good grip. There is a slight acidic ferocity in the finish before the long, tart blackcurrant finish.

QdI LBV 2009
Late Bottled Vintage Port unfiltered from Quinta do Infantado:
Aubergine purple with a ruby red edge. On the nose there are dark berries, blackberries, blueberries and black raspberries, with a floral edge, somewhere between violets and rose petals. The Port has a nice freshness. The same fresh berries are found on the palate, ripe but not jam-like, with a light acidity that nicely accentuates the dry style. The tannins are mild, but present and the finish is of medium length.
