The Tawny Port has an aging period of three to five years in wooden barrels, exposing them to a gradual process of evaporation and oxidation. As a result, they gradually soften and take on an amber, nutty color.
On the palate: a nice light reddish colour. Aromas of fresh and dried fruit with a hint of vanilla. Very balanced in the mouth with a pleasant aftertaste of cherries.
Storage: store upright in a cool, dark place. It does not develop significantly further in the bottle. Can be kept for three or four years without losing its freshness.
Serve: Serve slightly chilled, between 12 and 13ºC. Delicious on its own or served with caramel, vanilla or cream desserts.
