Tawny Port

The Tawny Port is named after the tawny color, which is created by the wine several years in barrel maturation, so it can oxidize slightly. The Tawny Port is composed of a blend of Port wines from different harvest years, but has the main feature that it has matured for several years in barrels, which gives its typical tawny color. Great to drink chilled as an aperitif, after a meal with a crème brulée or of course with a cheese board with older cheeses and spicy blue cheeses.
